Default IP Address Selection on the TMG Firewall
If you’re an old ISA firewall fan, you know that the default IP address used on the external interface of the ISA firewall was always (well, almost always) the primary IP address on the external interface.
You’d figure that it would be the same on the TMG firewall, right? Wrong. They changed how the IP address on the external interface default is defined.
Check the TMG firewall team blog for details.

Blatant plug: If you want to force the firewall to choose a particular external IP for outbound traffic, you can try out our solution for that, IP Binder.
