Hi Jason,

True enough! I should test it too. I've already got everything set up for RADIUS, so setting up for LDAP should be pretty easy.

Thanks!

Ok fair enough...

Something I need to test then, as I like to use LDAP/S for "difficult" customers who refuse to domain join ISA :)

Cheers

Hi Jason,

Excellent question. I should have mentioned LDAP and why I choose not to go with it yet. The reason why I choose not to use LDAP is that the DC in the Exchange Server forest is Windows Server 2008. I haven't had a chance to test ISA 2006 LDAP with Windows Server 2008. Since RADIUS is a well established standard, and the LDAP implementation used by ISA to connect to a DC isn't quite as standard (and thus more subject to change), I decided to go the safe way and use RADIUS.

However, there's a good chance that LDAP would work. I just took the cowards way out in this instance.
