Fixing the Virtual PC SP1 "Null MAC Address" Networking Problem
In my article How to build an ISA firewall lab with Virtual PC 2004 I wrote that when you start up the ISA virtual machine you might see the following warning message:
If that’s the case, the Virtual PC configurator did not assign correctly a MAC address to the network adapters for the virtual machine. To workaround that problem you can manual assign a MAC address to the network adapters as explained in my article. Hey plz guys i need help with this one “The Parent Virtual Hard Disk has been deleted or has been Moved from its previous location. Please select the new location of the parent virtual harddisk” what does that mena and when i select change location it doesen’t work?
